I hope your day was filled with family, fun and lots of candy!
We had a two-day celebration. The big one on Saturday with our families, and then just my little family today. It just gets hard doing big events on a Sunday, when everyone has to be up early the next day. This year, we got lucky that everyone was actually available on Saturday, so we moved Easter up a day.
Saturday worked out perfectly, everyone was relaxed, and there was no need to force the festivities to move quickly or end early. P. was so excited to see what the Easter bunny brought her and Jay. Her new princess doll took the cake, as she had been hoping the Easter bunny would be able to give it to her. And of course she had all the fun novelties - candy, chocolate bunny, random toys and more. He wasn't too sure what all the excitement was about, but he got some cool new toys and tried a few new snacks, so I would say he had a pretty good day.
Today had an awesome start. Easter bunny pancakes for breakfast. Then we got dressed up and headed to a lovely mass. Came home to relax and enjoy the rest of the day. Lunch and naptime. Well almost everyone got a nap - I got laundry going for the week. A nap would have been nice, but having the housework done makes for a (hopefully) stress-free week. After naps, we did some more egg hunting, eating, and playing. Then it was baths and bedtime.
Now its a bit of me-time, getting the hang of what blogging is and getting ready for bed.
Not sure I will get the hang of this soon, and this weeks calendar looks crazy, but I am working on it slowly.
