I am a mother of five curious, funny, smart and adorable little ones. Of course, of the five, only two of those are my own offspring - a daughter and son. The other three are my pups; you know - the children I had before I had children. I am a wife to a hardworking and determined local business owner. And my profession is a high school teacher.
I am trying to figure out everything and anything. I am not the most domestic woman on planet Earth, my house is far from immaculate, my cooking far from chef-worthy, and my parenting skills - well, hit or miss. I work hard on my marriage, but that too has its bumps along the way. And professionally, well - that is perhaps what takes the biggest toll on my life because being an educator in today's public school system is challenging to say the least.
I know there are many mommies out there just like me. We are, day in and day out, trying to make ends meet, keep a happy and healthy family, and survive in our profession.
With this blog, I hope to influence, learn, and share my journey in becoming my own version of "superwoman".
